Producer Story:
“My name is Adolfo and I am the first generation of coffee growers of the Hernández family, I bought the farm 15 years ago which is located in the San Juan Alotenango area in the Antigua Guatemala region. It is a beautiful place, surrounded by the two beautiful and majestic volcanoes Agua and Fuego, hence the name "Finca San José Buena Vista". I have been very blessed with the variety of microclimates and soils rich in volcanic minerals that the place offers. Currently finca San José is under the care of my son José Adolfo, who is the second generation and always continuing with the love for coffee growing. Jose Adolfo is in charge of ensuring the correct handling of each of the coffee plants found on the farm, but always under my supervision. Our harvest is carried out completely by hand, by people who put all their care to select strictly ripe fruits, with the appearance of the cherry, firm, fresh and bright."
